Kevin and I are staying here for Thanksgiving!
Just didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of travel, plus I'll be just starting my new server job, and I told them I wouldn't be there for Christmas, so I feel I need to be around the beginning of the craziness of Christmas season.
The restaurant is right by the mall, so I'm hoping to make a lot in December!
I'm excited to cook a meal just for the two of us, it won't be stressful, and we can cook whatever we want! Kevin isn't a huge fan of turkey, and as of now I haven't found a 8-10 pound turkey, so we might have a different protein. Which I'm completely fine with. Of course I want the classics, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, and some vegetable sides.
The next thing I need to figure out is portion sizes. All these kinds of recipes feed 8 people, so I need to adjust those. And dessert, I figured I need to only choose one pie, as much as I would love to cook many, I don't want to gain 30 pounds. But I figured, I'll make little pumpkin pies in a cupcake pan.
So I've been working on dish towel prints!
I ordered flour sack towels on amazon.
I'll do a DIY post, if anyone is at all interested in doing this themselves!
The ink isn't spreading thru the fabric when it's wet, but if I rub my hand really hard on the fabric, I will get some blue on my hand. So I'm gonna do some more research to make sure the ink sets in the fabric.
But as of now I am pleased with the look and using something I printed.
I consider myself a fairly healthy person, I exercise and eat healthy most of the time. And you know how there are some days where you're super pumped to work out, you actually enjoy it? It's rare, but it happens. But then there are days where you rather just sit and do nothing? Well today was that day for me, but I thought, "No, Riley, fight through it! Remember all that Halloween candy?"
So I chose a random 30 minute video on YouTube, it said beginner workout and I thought, great, I don't want something that's gonna kill me, wrong!

I don't know how to change it! I made the video small so it wasn't like BAM!
I was dying the first 10 minutes, and I don't know if it had something to do with how I felt about working out today because the other day I did a different, harder workout, and it was great!
It also really annoyed me how this woman didn't sweat. I'm over here grunting out my workout and she's just blinking like she walked up a flight of stairs.
When I work out, I like to see the instructor working too, because obviously you're fit, but I want to see that you're still working at it too.
I also need to look into protein powders, does anyone have any suggestions?
Final Random Thing:
I started watching iZombie on Netflix and it is so fun! Please someone else watch it so we can talk about it! The whole zombie thing kept me from watching it, but I thought i'd try it one day and its funny, smart, and they're solving crime!
