Hello! Still working on cards, started new quotes today...while watching Netflix. (I am watching the tv show, Don't Trust the B*tch in Apartment 23, it's actually really funny! Sad it only had 2 season.) Anyway, A lot of intricate cutting coming my way.
But I wanted to talk about my other project I am about to start. Below are photos of a print I did last fall. And I absolutely love it, which is rare for me to say about any of my work. This is what I love (and slightly hate) about relief, all the detail I am able to put into it.
Back to my next project, I was thinking I could make a series out of it, I thought that right away, but I am now finally getting around to it. Right now I am drawing out butterflies, so much detail potential in that one. And then I want to do one that has creepy crawly insects. If anyone else has any ideas on what to put on a head, let me know! I like how it is a correlation between human and nature and how we are all possibly connected. And plus it's just fun.
I am getting my tonsils taken out this Thursday, so i'll be out for a bit, I am hoping for only a week. Oh and I finally got other projects out of my drawer up on campus, they're redoing all the studios so the doors were locked and I couldn't get in, but I attempted to go during the day while the construction guys were working and was able to snag a few pieces, so those will be up soon in my gallery section!
